Rob Ramsey on Web Design and his process…
“I love web design because I know how important it is to the client. They are saying to me, ‘here is my lifelong dream, or my perfectly constructed business, or my name is on this’ and I have to carefully take that information and craft it in such a way as to make them proud, to make it so they cannot wait to show people their new website. As soon as I am able to have a consultation with a client, my imagination and expectations begin racing with excitement as to what we can accomplish together.”
Rob enjoys a sense of collaboration with his clients. That could be one reason why Ramsey Design is so highly rated. Rob will be in regular contact with you as the job progresses. Another thing that Rob tries to do with his clients is teaching them. Rob offers a service that will show clients that are interested, how to make some rudimentary changes to their site so that they do not have to always submit a work order to have simple changes made. Some clients take to this right away, and others may not want to be bothered, but the choice is always there.
Rob Ramsey on Visual/Graphic Design and his process…
“Taking a concept and manipulating it and designing it into something unique is, let’s face it, something we all love to do. From the plumber who intuitively arranges the pipes or chooses the type of material, to make a project come together. Or, the accountant who works their magic to make the books balance or a manager who uses research and creativity to establish a budget that saves hundreds of dollars. We all enjoy the sense of accomplishment. With visual and graphic design it is the same, but even a little more exhilarating. I especially like surprising a client with some design that they were not even expecting. And 9 out of 10 times they are overjoyed with a ‘this guy gets it’ response. It is very fulfilling. Don’t get me wrong, I have had some big failures too, but you learn and improve.”
Some examples of visual design is logos, posters, flyers, magazine ads, outdoor advertisement, business cards, etc.
Rob Ramsey on Video Design/Video Editing and his process…
“Working with video has really become a passion of mine because as a medium, it is always changing and improving with the software that creates it. I like taking a simple logo, adding music and sound effects, and motion, and turning it into a visual goldmine. The process can be laborious, but the results can be jaw-dropping”
What Rob just described is what is known as a logo stinger, often found at the beginning of a video on YouTube. It is kind of like the snippets you might see before a movie. But Ramsey Design edits and creates everything from short YouTube videos to more elaborate Promotional videos. Rob is always learning and has dedicated himself to improving his skills in this medium with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere to better improve the results of this skill he loves so much.
Rob Ramsey on his company…
“I am not going to lie, working as a freelance designer is not all green pastures and thought bubbles, it is hard work, but work that I love to do. The hustle of getting new clients or getting rejected by some can be hard. But when someone gets to know my company and me, they are happy with the work we do as a team. I know I mention collaboration a lot, but that is really how I feel. This collaboration between client and designer is what keeps me pushing that ‘ON’ button on the computer every morning. I really hope that you will take the time to get to know me and my company better.”

We don’t think so. Our prices are considerably less than other visual artists with our experience and longevity. We are well aware of how hard it can be to budget expenses as an entrepreneur or small business. We work with big budgets and small budgets and charge equally and not based on some sort of means test. We are proud of our price range and feel that it is more than compatible with our expertise. We hope you agree.
We utilize mostly Adobe Products(Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Premiere, After Effects, Audition) and use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite in our asset designs. We have floppy discs of Adobe Photoshop somewhere in our archives if that tells you anything. We also use the WordPress theme Avada often. We have a professional Canva membership and are well-versed in Microsoft office for client submission and Powerpoint presentations.
